Finally found some time to sit and write my report about the last round of the speedwurx summer series.

Got to the venue early to sort and setup the track, hardly anyone there and tbh, has kind of been the theme. it’s summer and I get it m, but without the support the club won’t go far.

One of the last to get my table setup, and we was ready to go. Running a fresh set of tyres I didn’t expect a lot. I had broke them in like many do, and even done a 5 min run at the previous meeting.

I didn’t change my car all day tbh. Mostly because I couldn’t be bothered, it was hot and muggy. I felt the car had a hint of understeer and really didn’t traction the way I wanted. But I had enough in hand to manage these situations. So I took the top qualifier spot and the final win. Flag to flag. My package has been mega and continues to be.

Now I have a six week break to get the cars ready. As I have another event coming up in October so to save me rushing with prep I have swapped about what I’m going to run.

I finished the series with the win, I had to work for round 1, and the rest were more plain sailing. Hopefully this will go well into the winter racing, but the competition will rise and I expect it to be a lot harder. Anyway time to rock on!!
