We sit here a day before the next race event ready…. When I say ready I’m not even racing. I’ve helped prep and prepare a friends car for him to race.

I didn’t realise this championship was of seven rounds and five to count. I thought it was eight. Either way with five rounds won I decided to have one off from racing. My mate had a shit last race meeting, even though the one before he nearly won the b final. So I took his car, reset it, and we go again.

I’m hoping that this takes pressure of him, all he has to do is drive or do his pics etc.

Me on the other hand with family life I’m just trying to plan ahead. Next meeting is the last summer event before we head into the winter warm up and then the Danum trophy at Doncaster. So next meeting to save time I’ll be back with my xray 24, before the warm up with the 23 car, swap over to an alloy chassis for the Danum trophy and then back two weeks later to carbon with the 24 for Louth.

I’m grateful for having two cars to swap between, without it would be hell of a slot of work. Either way the 23 will get a run out tmz during the lunch break, to bed some tyres in and double check some others. Ofc I’ll report back here with how we go I’m hopeful but not expecting the world
