So I had prepped long in advance for the next round of the summer series. I needed this one to have a championship clean sweep. I’d spent money aswell to get and improve my car. I changed speed control to hobbywing like most and bought some cheaper alternatives for the shocks.

So the day come and it was a nice layout, few hairpins, but a nice flow to it. Went out in practice and my car wasn’t fast and neither good to drive. I was struggling. I know others around were back in a carbon chassis and this at our track has brought some pace.

Q1 I stuck with what I had and the car was terrible. Twitchy, lacked speed, bottom end the lot. I was still leading til tape spin me and put me down the order. Still a 2nd place

Q2 I changed my shock package back to xray items and my eac back to Lrp/ nosram. Wow the car came alive, I was on the back of the car ahead immediately and he made a mistake and that was that

Q3 Again the car was solid and I could just put in laps for a near perfect run

Q4 Inwas lacking time due to helping a friend but another solid run

Q5 on for near perfect until the last few corners and my battery dropped out. Typical me. Either way car was on the money.

For the final i reset the top deck, checked toe, camber, ride height and off we went. No mistakes and the race was over by the end of first lap due to fighting lower down the field. My slowest lap was my final one catching the back of the train.

So that wraps up my summer championship. Car was mega, package awesome too. Going to take a break and spanner for a friend for the next one
