So it’s nearly been a week since I finally got back on track. My touring car has been in bits, and I was anticipated the first runs of my battcave joker.

But in the lead up to race meeting things changed. Would we have a race meeting at all, the chairman saying he was stepping down meaning I would step up. And the club having big issues. Either way we held a meeting with the owners to see if we could improve things, and things were positive

Should the club get a race night, one tennis court would be the max. Simple tracks but it’s Carper racing and not wood floor. All looked positive as I left sat night. Sun morning I arrived later then the others but ready.

Practice with the joker was shocking, so much I ran my trusty mardave. I grabbed tq but it was close, Josh Carlton drove mega and I mean mean mega. The final I should have one but my receiver coming unstuck hindered me. That’s racing. I left deflated a little. But with the kick up my arse to get my touring car ready for the summer racing. But what type of summer racing would it be? Numbers don’t look mega, and advertising so far not good.

As the chairman now things need to happen. I wait on a reply for a club night. And hope this is the answer to the clubs prayers

Anyway here’s a pic of the smaller track, but it’s a track non the less and it’s still racing that I truely miss. I miss the bigger meets, the time to sit and prep. And the level of competition. But family comes first and I stand by that 🙂
