Christmas Eve is here, and I’ve had half an hour to tinker with my car. And it’s time to reflect.
It’s been a somber year for racing, think I’ve missed more local events then ever. Made one trip to another club, again the least ever for me. But it’s been good. At Louth I’ve had a near 100% strike record in rounds and events won. I got back into mardave racing and it’s mega fun.
I won the summer series, and the first two of this years winter racing. My package has been strong all year. The 23 xray has been mega, and the 24 I’m still working on but a win on debut and still strong now I couldn’t be happier.
My nosram package of esc and batts has been mega. I tried the hobbywing for the last few rounds but think I’ll go back to my nosram esc for the new year. I haven’t swapped anything else tbh. I’ve maintained my cars well and kept giving myself the edge at local racing, whilst I can’t do anything more. I haven’t lost the hunger.
But I still love the hobby, doing it with my dad is mega too as he loves it too and I hope my son will be in the near future.
Not sure if anyone has taken the time to read this, this year. If you have hope you’ve enjoyed what you read. And it’s been insightful. Or funny
But thanks for coming along
Until 2024 when we go again… peace out
