It’s been a few weeks since the last race meeting. I’ve been preparing my car for the first round of the Schumacher indoor winter series presented by Louth radio control car club.

I run the events with the help and support of the clubs committee, and the aim is make racing more inclusive and accessible . Cheap racing on cheap ish tyres.

Since Al this has happened the new xray x4 24 has been released, and it looks mega they have knocked it out of the park. Many got them this week and will be getting them read to go, maybe this weekend. I’ve decided to play it safe and have mine ready for the next race meeting. This way more info can be gathered instead of going in blind.

I’ve also sold my old x4 22, and have been preparing this for a mate to race. I’ve had to reset it to basic so he can learn, as it’s a new platform for him as he comes the t4 22. So I’ve been preparing that, getting the gear in it

My car has had the usual drivetrain revamp, some new belts, shocks will be fresh along with a fresh diff and a new shell. So fingers crossed. Last meeting didn’t end how I wanted but I believe in my prep, ability and this car. So we will see

Race meeting is Sunday so hopefully all goes well, until the next one
