Be you, and nobody else but you

So this week I did something I never thought I would. By doing this hobby I try to help out anyone I can. I try to help them enjoy the hobby the same way I do. Last week I had a message from a grandmother of a young racer. Since he’s started racing I’ve talked to his grandparents, and I’m told he idolises what I do. He will have only seen me race at Louth, where I’ve had a good results. I was told by taking an interest in his racing it’s made him smile, and makes him feel better about himself.

I am lucky that I had two bodyshells painted for me. Free of charge, something I never thought I may get. So after speaking to Tim Tim’s I told him I wanted to donate one. To this young racer, so I messaged his gran and told her. Was told he was ecstatic. So I visited him and also took him an xray t-shirt. Yes it was worn but he can now look the part. Then I have him the shell. His smile and excitement was easy to see, even without him saying it in words. I did this because I heard he was mentally struggling and at his age, I felt this can’t do. So I made someone smile, and his grandparents want to keep him racing

It’s the simple and small things. I aim to give him an xray hoody too but that will be surprise 🙂

This is my racing in a nutshell
